Vodafone Idea unit said to raise Rs 5,000 cr

India's Vodafone Idea Telecom Infrastructure, a wholly owned subsidiary of telecom operator Vodafone Idea, is in talks to raise up to 50 billion rupees ($569.5 million) through a debt sale in September, three sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday. The unit of India's third-largest wireless carrier plans to issue bonds with tenors of two and three years, raising 30 billion rupees and 20 billion rupees, respectively, the sources said. The company is expected to tap private credit funds for the issue, and offer coupons of around 12% and 14% on two-year and three-year bonds, two of the sources said. Thailand to host Tomorrowland in 2026

Thailand has secured a five-year agreement to host the world-renowned Tomorrowland festival, with the government approving a budget of 2 billion baht ($62 million) to support the event. The festival will debut in Asia for the first time at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, starting in late 2026.According to a report by Nation Thailand, Tourism and Sports Minister Sorawong Thienthong said the cabinet has cleared funding for the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to oversee the festival from 2026 to 2030. Ola Electric shares rally 7% on PLI nod for Gen 3 scooter portfolio

Shares of Ola Electric Mobility surged as much as 6.6% on Tuesday to Rs 51.80 on the BSE after the company announced that it has secured Production Linked Incentive (PLI) certification for its Gen 3 scooter portfolio, a move the company said will strengthen margins and profitability from the ongoing quarter of the current financial year.The certification, granted by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) under the aegis of the Ministry of Heavy Industries, covers all seven Ola S1 Gen 3 scooters.
