Shares of newly-listed e-commerce platform Meesho slid 21% over the past three trading sessions, falling to Rs 185.25 on Tuesday, after a breathless post-listing rally that had more than doubled the stock from its IPO price in just over a week. The US Department of Homeland Security has announced a year-end incentive offering $3,000 and a free flight to illegal immigrants who voluntarily leave the country by registering through the CBP Home app. The offer, available until the end of December, triples the earlier $1,000 payment under the self-deportation programme. The initiative is part of the Trump administration’s push to tighten immigration enforcement while reducing the cost of formal deportations. Google plans to restart and scale up green card sponsorships for its employees from 2026, but the benefit will apply only to staff who meet specific eligibility conditions, according to a report by Business Insider. As per a memo reviewed by Business Insider, the company has informed employees that it will ramp up applications under the US Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) programme next year. PERM is the first formal step for foreign workers to move from a work visa to permanent residency in the US.
