Kerala MVD warns quick-commerce riders

The Kerala Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) has issued notices to major quick-commerce platforms, including Blinkit, Swiggy, Zepto and Bigbasket, to overhaul their delivery policies, following a surge in traffic violations and reckless driving by their riders. The notices have been served to the companies' dark stores and platform operators, directing them to streamline and align their internal policies with road safety regulations within the next 15 days, a statement said here on Wednesday. The department warned that failure to comply would invite further legal action. Vikran Engineering shares zoom 15% on Rs 2,035 crore solar EPC order win

Shares of Vikran Engineering rallied as much as 15% on Wednesday to hit an intraday high of Rs 99.80 on the BSE, after the company announced that it had secured a major Rs 2,035.26 crore EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) order from Onix Renewables Limited.The order is for the development of 600 MW AC solar power projects across multiple locations in Maharashtra.In a regulatory filing, the company stated that the project was awarded on December 23 and will be executed on a turnkey basis.
