Adani Enterprises to launch Rs 1,000 crore NCD issue next week with interest of up to 8.9%

Adani Enterprises will return to the domestic bond market next week with a Rs 1000 crore public issue of non-convertible debentures, offering investors yields of up to 8.9%, as India’s largest conglomerates tap debt markets early in the year to lock in funding.According to Reuters, the Adani Group’s flagship company plans to raise Rs 1000 crore through the issue, with an additional Rs 500 crore greenshoe option that could be exercised if demand is strong. The bonds will be issued with two-year, three-year and five-year maturities, with 35% of the issue earmarked for retail investors.The company will pay annual coupons of 8.6% on two-year notes, 8.75% on three-year notes and 8.9% on five-year notes.
