India's manufacturing sector expansion slowed to its weakest pace in two years in December as demand softened and firms curbed production, according to a business survey that also showed hiring had slowed to a near standstill.The cooling in factory activity adds to signs the world's fastest-growing major economy is entering a slower phase after posting growth of more than 8% in the July-September quarter.The HSBC India Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) compiled by S&P Global fell to 55.0 in December from 56.6 in November, lower than a preliminary estimate of 55.7.
