Akasa Air introduces Apple Pay for bookings

Akasa Air on Wednesday announced the introduction of Apple Pay as a payment option on its website and mobile app, becoming the first Indian airline to enable Apple Pay for cross-border transactions. The offer is introduced to make international flight bookings simpler and more secure for travellers using Apple devices. The airline said the new payment option will allow international customers to complete bookings with one-tap payments using Face ID or Touch ID, reducing checkout time and payment drop-offs.
