Maharashtra poll result: Counting begins

Mumbai: Counting of votes polled in elections to 29 municipal corporations across Maharashtra began on Friday morning with the spotlight on Mumbai, where the BJP-led Mahayuti bloc is locked in a prestige battle with the reunited Thackeray cousins for control of India's richest civic body.Polling for 2,869 seats spread across 893 wards in these municipal corporations, including 227 in Mumbai, took place on Thursday. Angel One shares zoom over 7% after Q3 results, interim dividend, 1:10 stock split announcement

Shares of Angel One surged sharply by 7.5% to their intraday high of Rs 2,714.30 on the BSE on Friday, January 16, following the announcement of its third-quarter earnings and key corporate actions. The company reported a 4% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 269 crore for the quarter ended December 2025.Alongside the results, the board approved an interim dividend of Rs 23 per share and a stock split in the ratio of 1:10.The record date for the interim dividend has been fixed as January 21, with the payout scheduled on or before February 13. Aritas Vinyl IPO: Check GMP, price band, subscription and other details

Gaudium IVF, Sillverton Industries among 7 IPOs approved by Sebi

Capital markets regulator Sebi cleared seven IPOs, paving the way for fundraising plans across manufacturing, chemicals, logistics, healthcare, real estate, engineering and precious metals. One of the companies to receive approval is Sillverton Industries, an eco-friendly paper maker. The company's IPO includes a fresh issue of Rs 300 crore with an offer for sale of 3.22 crore shares by promoters. The company plans to deploy Rs 129 crore from the fresh issue towards sustainability-focused capital expenditure at its existing manufacturing facility, including installation of a 14 MW waste-to-energy captive power plant and a compressed biogas unit.
