ICICI Bank announces proposal to buy 2% additional stake in ICICI Prudential AMC ahead of IPO

ICICI Bank, in a disclosure to the stock exchanges on Wednesday, announced its plans to buy an additional 2% stake in its subsidiary ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC), ahead of the latter’s initial public offering (IPO).ICICI Prudential AMC has submitted its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) dated July 8, 2025, to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), BSE, and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) for a proposed IPO.The offering consists of an offer for sale (OFS) of equity shares by Prudential Corporation Holdings Limited (PCHL), representing up to 10% of the Company's equity share capital. Keep interest rates reasonable: FM to NBFCs

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Wednesday asked NBFCs not to aggressively market or push loans to customers and said financial inclusion cannot be used as a pretext for "financial exploitation". She also asked non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) to adhere to the Reserve Bank of India's loan recovery norms strictly, and keep interest rates at reasonable levels. Addressing an NBFC Symposium 2025 here, Sitharaman said there should be deep collaboration between NBFCs and banks, especially through co-lending arrangements for providing loans to the priority sector. Smartworks raises Rs 173.64 cr from anchor investors ahead of IPO

Smartworks Coworking Spaces has raised Rs 173.64 crore from anchor investors ahead of its initial public offer (IPO). In a regulatory filing on Wednesday, Smartworks finalised the allocation of 42,66,378 equity shares to anchor investors at Rs 407 per equity share. Out of the total allocation of 42,66,378 shares to the anchor Investors, 32.04 per cent were allocated to three domestic mutual funds, which have applied through a total of four schemes. These three domestic mutual funds are Tata Mutual Fund, Baroda BNP Paribas and Trust Mutual Fund.
