Q3 boost for June-listed Siemens Energy: Profit shoots up 80% to Rs 263 crore, revenue rises 20% on new orders

Siemens Energy India on Monday reported an 80% YoY jump in its net profit for the quarter ended June at Rs 263 crore versus Rs 146 crore posted in the year ago period. The company's revenue from operations increased 20% to Rs 1,785 crore in Q3FY26 compared to Rs 1,484 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.It is Siemens Energy India's first earnings since its listing on June 19 this year. Godfrey Phillips Q1 Results: Net profit jumps 56% to Rs 356 crore, to issue 2:1 bonus shares

Cigarette maker Godfrey Phillips India Ltd on Monday reported a 56 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 356.28 crore in the first quarter ended June 2025, riding on higher sales. The company, which posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 228.55 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, said its board has approved issuance of bonus equity shares in the proportion of 2:1, Godfrey Phillips India said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated total revenue from operations in the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,813.26 crore as against Rs 1,358.81 crore in the year-ago period, it added. VinFast launches first factory in India

Vietnamese electric vehicle maker VinFast launched its first manufacturing facility in southern India on Monday, marking a key step in its expansion into the world's third-largest auto market. Vinfast plans to roll out cars to the showroom later this month, Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, told Reuters at the sidelines of the inauguration of its Indian plant in Thoothukudi. Last year, VinFast and Tamil Nadu state agreed to work towards an investment of up to $2 billion, with an intended commitment of $500 million for the first five years. The plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of up to 150,000 vehicles.
