Saudi updates property rules for foreigners

Saudi Arabia has brought into force new regulations governing real estate ownership by non-Saudis, requiring all applications to be processed through a single government digital platform. The Saudi Real Estate General Authority said the Regulation on Real Estate Ownership by Non-Saudis has officially entered into effect, according to the Saudi Press Agency. Applications to move online via Saudi Properties portal Under the new system, all non-Saudi property ownership applications must be submitted through Saudi Properties, the government’s unified digital portal for real estate services. The platform will manage the entire process electronically, including eligibility checks, approvals and final registration. Adani clarifies on US SEC summons report

Adani Group companies, Adani Power, Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and Adani Green Energy, among others, on Saturday issued a clarification via stock exchange filing in response to recent media reports claiming that the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (US SEC) is seeking court approval to serve legal summons to Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar Adani via alternative methods, including direct email.In the filings, Adani Group companies stated that there are no allegations made against the company, nor is the company a party to any such proceedings.
