Crude Oil caught between war winds and OPEC’s supply surge. 3 things charts suggest

Crude oil prices traded steady on Wednesday as concerns over higher output from OPEC+ groups were partially offset by supply pressures caused due to the Canadian wildfires along with economic uncertainties in the wake of global trade tensions.The June crude oil futures on the MCX were trading at Rs 5,473 per Bbl, gaining Rs 18 or 0.33% over the previous closing price. Domestic prices moved in tandem with the international prices. On the COMEX, the US WTI contracts were trading at $63.71 around 4 PM India time, up by $0.30 or 0.47% while the Brent Oil futures were hovering around $65.93, also gaining by $0.30 or 0.46%. 43% of Indian HNIs save less than 20% of their income, says Marcellus–D&B Wealth 2025 survey

A significant proportion of India’s high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) are falling short on financial discipline and structured planning despite their rising affluence and ambitions, according to a new survey released by Marcellus Investment Managers in collaboration with Dun & Bradstreet on Wednesday.The India Wealth Survey 2025, which covered 465 households across 28 cities, found that 43% of HNIs save less than 20% of their post-tax income, even as they aim for early retirement, entrepreneurship, and financial security for their children. Moreover, 14% of respondents do not maintain an emergency fund, and over half allocate more than 20% of their wealth to real estate, highlighting a heavy preference for physical assets despite increasing awareness of market-linked investments.A sh

Can rising EPS estimates restore investor confidence despite tariff uncertainties?

Mumbai: Investors may have a reason to cheer amid elevated uncertainties over the fallout of tariffs in the near term.
