Lone survivor of AI171: Don’t know how I'm alive

A man who emerged as the sole survivor from the crash of Air India Flight 171 made a video call to his family moments after escaping the wreckage, expressing disbelief at his survival. The crash claimed the lives of all 241 others onboard. Viswash Kumar Ramesh, 38, was returning to London from Ahmedabad when the Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff. Among the passengers was his brother Ajay Ramesh, who did not survive. “I don’t know how I am alive,” Viswash told his younger brother, Nayan Ramesh, 27, during a call from the crash site, according to an NYT report. Moody's Ratings on Friday affirmed Tata Motors Limited (TML) Ba1 corporate family rating (CFR) while holding the rating outlook to remain positive.
