TAFE targets 200,000 tractor sales in FY26

Mumbai: Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd (TAFE) is targeting tractor sales of over 200,000 units in FY26, up from about 175,000 in FY25. The company is expected to outpace overall industry growth, supported by a series of new product launches and expanded manufacturing activity at key facilities, according to people aware of the company's plans.In May, TAFE reported 17,767 tractor sales, with 12.4% growth in domestic markets and 24% growth in exports from the year before, significantly ahead of the industry average of 9% and 1%, respectively, the people said.To support future growth, TAFE is rolling out several new products from its manufacturing base in Tamil Nadu, including a six-row paddy transplanter, a track harvester for both domestic and export use besides making tractor cabins. HDFC Bank to keep backing HDB Fin post-IPO

HDFC Bank's Managing Director and CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan on Wednesday said the lender will continue supporting its subsidiary HDB Financial Services post-listing as well. Terming the Rs 12,500-crore initial public offering a "complex" transaction, Jagdishan said this is a "historic" day for the HDFC Bank-promoted non banking finance company (NBFC). HDB shares got listed on bourses on Wednesday. Speaking before the listing, Jagdishan said the IPO will provide "independent capital and visibility" for the company to accelerate its growth trajectory. Rites shares jump 6% after winning $3.6 million international order

Rites shares rallied over 6% to Rs 296 on Wednesday after the company announced a significant international contract win, signaling a positive addition to its order pipeline.On July 1, 2025, RITES announced that it had secured a USD 3.6 million purchase order from African Rail Company for the supply and commissioning of two fully overhauled ALCO diesel-electric locomotives. Odisha leads in Q1 private capex

New Delhi: New project announcements by private sector companies fell to a four-quarter low in the three months ended June, showed data from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). Total investments in these projects at ₹3.5 lakh crore, however, more than doubled from Rs 1.4 lakh crore a year earlier, the data showed.Five states dominated the investments, accounting for 85.7% of the newly-announced projects.
