Maruti Suzuki plans to set up 500 service centres during FY 2025-26 out of which 91 facilities are already set up, the company announced on Monday.The company has expanded its service network to 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 cities, with the latest centre inaugurated in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The new service facility was inaugurated by the Company’s Executive Officers, Service, Ram Suresh Akella and Yasuhiro Kawai.Maruti Suzuki Ltd. now has a service fleet of 40,000 service bays around the country. This system has a capability to service 30 million customer vehicles in a year, the company said.In FY 2024-25, the automobile giant serviced over 27 million vehicles, marking the highest number in a financial year. The company added 460 new service centres in the last financial year.
Executives of tech giants Meta and Google did not depose before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as scheduled on Monday and have now been given fresh summons for July 28 in a money laundering case linked to promotion of "illegal" online betting and gambling platforms, official sources said.It is understood that the representatives of the two companies sought deferment of the July 21 summons, saying they need time to collect relevant information and documents before they present themselves for questioning and recording of their statements at the federal probe agency.Sources said the executives have been given a one-week extension and asked to depose on July 28.Once they depose, their statements will be recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the sources said.There was
