Delhi extends EV policy till March 2026

Delhi government has extended the current Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy until March 31, 2026, as the draft of the new policy will undergo public consultation, which is expected to take time, Transport Minister Pankaj Singh said on Tuesday.Singh said the policy extension was among the matters listed for Tuesday's Cabinet meeting, and it has been decided to extend the same."The current Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy has been extended until March 31, 2026, or until a new policy is approved, whichever is earlier," Singh told PTI.The minister said the move aims to facilitate comprehensive consultations with all the relevant stakeholders, including citizens, industry experts, private organisations, and environmental groups.Singh added that during this extended period, key provisions of the policy w

Lodha Developers raises over Rs 350 crore via NCDs

Lodha Developers has raised over Rs 350 crore through an issue of non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The company approved the allotment of 35,000 rated, listed, senior, secured, redeemable, taxable, and transferable NCDs on Monday.The NCDs carry a coupon rate of 3-month MIBOR plus a spread of 2.09%, translating to a current effective rate of 8.19% per annum, the company said in a regulatory filing.The coupon will reset quarterly, linked to the prevailing 3-month MIBOR, while the coupon payments will be made annually, starting July 21, 2026. The spread will be reduced by 10 basis points to 1.99% from the second coupon reset, i.e., six months after the deemed date of allotment.The redemption will take place at face value in eight quarterly instalments beginning March 31, 2026, with the final

Paytm appoints Adani Infra as EPC contractor

One 97 Comm., parent company of Paytm, has appointed Manorview Developers, subsidiary of Adani Infrastructure as EPC Contractor for IT/ITES complex in Noida, the company announced on Tuesday.The company has appointed the subsidiary for development of its 10-acre (40,000 sq. m) IT/ITES facility in a plot located in Sector 159, Noida. Air India plane catches fire on landing

Air India Plane Caught Fire: An Air India plane caught fire shortly after landing at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Airport on Monday. The airline issued a statement in this regard today. As per the the airline, Flight AI 315 sustained some damage and has been grounded for investigations. All passengers and crew members of Hong Kong to Delhi flight later disembarked safely.The incident, according to the airline, occurred as passengers were disembarking when the auxiliary power unit (APU) automatically shut down as designed.
