India closely monitoring situation in Iran

The government is closely monitoring the situation in Iran and there are no reports of any Indian national missing or killed during the recent protests, the Ministry of External Affairs informed Parliament on Thursday. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh said the Indian Embassy in Tehran remains in regular contact with Indian nationals, including students, and is providing them guidance and support. Responding to questions on Indians in Iran, Singh said there are an estimated 9,000 to 10,000 Indian nationals currently residing in the country. Blackstone appoints bankers for Piramal Glass IPO

Blackstone has appointed Axis Capital, Bank of America and HSBC as lead bankers for the proposed initial public offering of PGP Glass, formerly Piramal Glass, sources familiar with the matter told The Economic Times.PGP Glass, which is fully owned by Blackstone, is expected to raise about $400 million to $500 million through the public listing, the sources said. Bloomberg reported last month that Blackstone was considering an IPO at a valuation of around $4 billion.Mail sent to Blackstone did not elicit any responses.Blackstone acquired Piramal Glass from the Ajay Piramal family in 2020 at a valuation of about $800 million. SBI PSU Fund managed by SBI Mutual Fund offered the highest CAGR in the last three years and five years respectively among all the equity mutual funds, an analysis by ETMutualFunds showed. In the last three years, the fund gave a CAGR of 32.14% and around 28.74% in the last five years (Source: ACE MF).Launched in July 2010, the fund is not given any rating by Morningstar and Value Research.
