India Inc shows robust growth in July: PMI

India's private sector showed robust growth in July, primarily fuelled by strong manufacturing performance and international demand, the latest HSBC Flash India Composite Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), compiled by S&P Global, showed on July 24.The index recorded a score of 60.7 in July. While slightly down from June's 61.0, it remained firmly above the 50-mark, indicating continuous expansion for the fourth consecutive year.The report highlights that total sales, export orders, and output levels experienced significant increases, with manufacturing leading the charge. Trump pulls up tech cos over China, India bias

US President Donald Trump has criticised American tech companies for building factories in China and hiring workers in India, warning that under his presidency, "those days are over". Trump made the remarks on Wednesday at the AI Summit where he signed three executive orders related to Artificial Intelligence, including a White House action plan to utilise AI. He said that for too long, much of America's tech industry pursued a "radical globalism" that left millions of Americans feeling "distrustful and betrayed." Brigade Hotel Ventures’ Rs 760 crore IPO opens: Should you subscribe or skip?

Brigade Hotel Ventures (BHVL), the hospitality arm of real estate major Brigade Enterprises, has opened its Rs 759.6 crore initial public offering (IPO) for subscription today.The public issue, which is entirely a fresh issue of 8.44 crore equity shares, is priced in the band of Rs 85–90 per share, and will close on July 28.The tentative listing date is July 31 on both BSE and NSE.
