CK Hutchison wants Chinese co in $23 bn deal

CK Hutchison said on Monday it wants a major Chinese strategic investor to join the BlackRock-led consortium bidding for its $22.8 billion ports business, after media reported that state-owned China COSCO Shipping Corp aims to join the group. The Hong Kong conglomerate in a statement said changes to the composition of the consortium and structure of the transaction will be necessary to secure regulatory approval, and that it will allow as much time as needed to achieve that. A 145-day exclusivity period for talks between the parties expired on Sunday. CK Hutchison's Hong Kong-listed shares were due to open higher just shy of 1% on Monday. Adani Total Gas Q1 Results: Cons PAT down 4% YoY to Rs 165 crore but revenue rises 21%

Adani Total Gas (ATGL) on Monday reported a 4% fall in its Q1 consolidated net profit to Rs 165 crore versus Rs 172 crore in the year ago period. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the shareholders of the company.The company's revenue from operation stood at Rs 1,498 crore which was up 21% from Rs 1,239 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.The PAT was 7% higher on a quarter-on-quarter basis over Rs 155 crore reported in Q4FY25. The topline was 3% up versus Rs 1,453 crore in the January-March quarter of FY25.The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter stood at Rs 301 crore and the installed EV charging points increased to 3,801.In its filing to the exchanges, ATGL said that the overall volume was up
