'Bias towards pilot error': Pilots' Association raises concerns over Air India crash report; demands transparency

The Airline Pilots’ Association of India (ALPA) has voiced concerns over the AAIB's preliminary report on the Air India crash in Ahmedabad, suspecting bias towards pilot error and a lack of transparency. "The tone and direction of the investigation suggest a bias toward pilot error. We categorically reject this presumption and insist on a fair, fact-based inquiry," ALPA India president Sam Thomas said in a statement.
