Researchers from UAEU and IIT Madras Zanzibar have developed an AI-powered framework to predict malaria outbreaks with high accuracy. Integrating neural networks, mathematical modelling, and climate variables, the tool enhances real-time risk assessment. Published in Scientific Reports, the study aims to support early interventions in malaria-prone regions, especially sub-Saharan Africa, which bears 94% of global cases.
