Billionaire Gautam Adani, while addressing the Adani Group's FY26 AGM on Tuesday, stated that no one from the group has been charged with violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) or obstructing justice in relation to the bribery allegations made by the United States and SECI."When we faced allegations by US and SECI related to Adani green, despite all the noise, the facts are that no one from aAani Group have been charged with violating FCPA or conspiring to obstruct justice," said the billionaire while speaing at the AGM. U.S. prosecutors allege that $228 million was offered to an unnamed Andhra Pradesh official by the defendants to direct the state's electricity distribution companies to purchase the solar power supplied to SECI by Adani Green.
