Nitish Kumar Reddy is out of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy due to a left knee injury, confirmed by the BCCI. Arshdeep Singh is also sidelined for the fourth Test against England with a thumb injury sustained during practice. Anshul Kamboj has been added to the Indian squad as cover for Singh's injury for the fourth Test at Old Trafford.
