Adriyan Karmakar, once losing interest in shooting, found renewed passion through his father's guidance. He secured a silver medal in the 50m rifle prone event at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. He became the first Indian to achieve this feat. Overcoming equipment issues, he utilised his father's old rifle.
