N Jagadeesan is likely to join the Indian team in England as cover for the injured Rishabh Pant, who suffered a metatarsal fracture. With Ishan Kishan also injured, selectors turned to Jagadeesan, currently awaiting visa processing. Pant had injured his toe on the opening day of the fourth Test while attempting a reverse sweep.
