Suryakumar Yadav’s unbeaten 84 off 49 balls helped India recover from 77/6 and post 161/9 against the USA in their T20 World Cup opener, winning by 29 runs. Virender Sehwag called it one of Suryakumar’s best innings, praising his composure under pressure and the USA bowlers for challenging India. USA were restricted to 132/8 by India’s bowlers.
