Bangladesh-born team owner gets sentenced in match-fixing case

A Sri Lankan court handed a suspended prison sentence to Tamim Rahman, owner of the Dambulla Thunders, for match-fixing. Rahman, a British national, admitted to attempting to influence a player and arranging bets during the domestic T20 league. He received a four-year jail term, suspended for five years, and a hefty fine.
