Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister and HAM (Secular) founder, has threatened to resign from the Union Cabinet and the NDA if his party is not allotted a Rajya Sabha seat. Manjhi stated that HAM (S) was promised a Rajya Sabha berth by the BJP during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections but has not yet received it.
