Gurdas Maan's younger brother, Gurpanth Maan, has passed away at the age of 68 in a Mohali hospital after a brief illness. Gurpanth, a farmer and commission agent from Gidderbaha, had been receiving treatment for two months. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter, all residing abroad, with his cremation scheduled for June 10 in Chandigarh.
