AJMER, RAJASTHAN — In a defining national moment, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a massive public gathering in Ajmer, marking a significant milestone in Rajasthan’s accelerated development journey and reinforcing the vision of “Developed India through Developed Rajasthan.”
Anchoring the address in civilizational pride, the Prime Minister paid homage to Tejaji Dham of Sursura and remembered the valor of Major Dalpat Singh, whose role in the liberation of Haifa continues to be honored in Israel — a reminder that Rajasthan’s legacy of courage carries global resonance.
Projects worth approximately ₹17,000 crore were inaugurated and foundation stones laid across critical sectors:
These initiatives are expected to significantly enhance public convenience, stimulate local economies, and generate employment opportunities for youth.
More than 21,000 appointment letters were distributed, marking a concrete expansion of government employment and opening a new chapter for Rajasthan’s young workforce.
From Ajmer, the Prime Minister launched the nationwide HPV vaccination campaign — a major step toward protecting mothers and daughters and strengthening preventive healthcare in India.
Reaffirming women-centric governance, he highlighted mission-mode initiatives:
He emphasized that a healthy mother builds a strong family, and a strong family builds a resilient nation.
Under the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, ₹78,000 assistance is being provided for rooftop solar installations. Over 1.25 lakh families in Rajasthan have already joined the initiative, with many households reducing electricity bills to nearly zero — signaling a decentralized clean-energy revolution.
Improved road, rail, and air connectivity is transforming Rajasthan’s growth landscape. Tourism in the Ajmer–Pushkar region is expanding, benefitting local businesses, traders, and workers.
Integration with the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor is positioning Rajasthan as a strategic investment hub — strengthening its role in India’s manufacturing, logistics, and global supply-chain architecture.
Commitment was reaffirmed to major water and river-linking projects, including:
These projects are expected to support farmers in Jhalawar, Baran, Kota, and Bundi, ensuring irrigation stability and long-term agricultural resilience.
The Prime Minister referenced India’s rising global influence, including the hosting of the world’s largest AI summit in Delhi and international appreciation for India’s growth trajectory.
He also underscored decisive responses to terrorism over the past decade, emphasizing strong national security and institutional resolve.
The message from Ajmer was clear: development is no longer incremental — it is structural, inclusive, and future-facing.
From infrastructure and solar energy to women’s health and youth employment, Rajasthan’s acceleration reflects a broader national momentum.
A new growth chapter has begun.
